What we found, works so well, they will not let us stop, and we hope sharing this information with you, can help you have healthier skin as well.

Skin care is important at all ages, and in all seasons. Bundling up for a Canadian Winter, or packing to go South for a week in the sun, taking the best care of your skin will bring immediate pleasure and relieve irritation. Discovering some useful, simple and natural tips and tricks can make a world of difference.

In a word... "STOP" putting detergent on your skin (read the ingredient of what you are using now). It may smell nice and clean well, yes, but it will strip your skin of the good natural oils as well, upsetting the pH balance and leaving you with dry unhealthy skin.

What Is Vegetable Glycerin? Uses & Benefits:
========================================

Vegetable glycerin, also known as glycerol or glycerine, is a clear liquid made from coconut oil.

Vegetable glycerin is made by heating triglyceride-rich vegetable fats - such as coconut oil - under pressure or together with a strong alkali. This causes the glycerin to split away from the fatty acids and mix together with water, forming an odorless, sweet-tasting, syrup-like liquid.

Vegetable glycerin, a natural emollient drawing moisture out of the air, is a popular skincare treatment because of its moisturizing power. Applying glycerin to your skin may gradually improve its hydration, smoothness and suppleness.

Vegetable glycerin may lead to better skin health by helping soothe skin irritation, protect against infection and promote wound healing. Moreover, vegetable glycerin may act as a barrier to safeguard your skin from the elements, including sun, wind and cold.

Things to add
============

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that may be effective at reducing UV damage in skin. And vitamin E applied topically may help nourish and protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals.

Aloe Vera contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne and dry skin.

Olive Oil applying olive oil to the skin can prevent signs of premature aging of the skin caused by repeated exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UV) and sun damage.

Shea Butter can treat many skin problems, including blemishes, wrinkles, itching, sunburns, small skin wounds, eczema, skin allergies, insect bites, frost bite, and other skin conditions.

Aromatherapy (feel great in your skin)
===============================

A holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being is sometimes called essential oil therapy. Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical and emotional health.

Essential Oils & Fragrance Oils
==========================

Unscented skin care products offer the highest probability of being hypoallergenic (relatively unlikely to cause an allergic reaction).

Lightly scenting soaps offers the benefits of lavender essential oil or the escape of an ocean breeze fragrance oil for example.

An Essential Oil is an all natural product. It can come from the peels of fruit or the buds of a flower, but are limited by what can be found in nature, and sometimes just because we can find it in nature doesn't mean it can be made into an essential oil.

Fragrance Oils designed for soap making are generally not natural, they are made out of synthetic aroma chemicals, all of which have been fully tested for safety, allergens and skin irritancy by the research institute for fragrance materials. So, why use fragrance oil? Well they're refreshing & fun so maybe you'll enjoy your time in the bath or shower even more.

Visual Appeal
==============

Many people are very visual. Skin care products that can please us visually while being used, and look beautiful on display in a bathroom is an added benefit we feel is important to echo and enhance the overall quality and wellness of a product overall.

Natural Treatments for Dry Baby Skin
================================

As a parent, you know that there is nothing more delicate than your baby's skin. Babies have a lot of skin for their tiny little bodies and it's much thinner than ours. This means that your baby's perfectly soft skin will absorb almost anything that's put on it, so when it comes to skin care for your baby: less is definitely more.

Many parents may choose to simply use water, but if you want to use a soap, go for a mild toxin-free all-natural soap that nourishes the skin, avoiding harsh chemicals that dry out the skin and artificial fragrances.
